The Guildford Town Guides have been operating since 1982 and in that time have shown over 22,000 visitors around the town.

There are 24 guides who have followed the local history course run at the Guildford Museum by Matthew Alexander.

Each year some members of his class decide to become Guildford Town Guides and begin their training usually by shadowing other guides, practising on family members and then finally joining the main Guides rota to take walks on their own.

New members are always welcome, so please contact the Guildford Tourist Information Centre for more details.
