Walks start from Tunsgate Arch which is located half way up the High Street (opposite the Guildhall Clock)

From the train station:

Exit through the main entrance, bear right and follow the footpath down to the pedestrian crossing, opposite Bridge House. Cross and follow the footpath as it bears to the left and continue across the bridge (Onslow Bridge) over the River Wey. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing until you are outside the Friary Centre. Turn left and follow the footpath, just past the taxi rank on the right, cross the road and head down the pedestrianised street between "New Look" and "Nandos" passing "Woolworths" on the right. At the end of the street you have reached the High Street, just turn left and continue up the hill until you reach Tunsgate Arch.

From the bus station:

When you leave the bus turn left (do not enter the Friary Centre) and head towards White Lion Walk, if it is open walk through the covered mall, at the end you have reached the High Street, just turn left and continue up the hill until you reach Tunsgate Arch. If White Lion Walk is closed, turn left at the entrance and head up the hill passed "M&S" on the right and take the next left (Swan Lane). At the end of the lane you have reached the High Street, just turn left and continue up the hill until you reach Tunsgate Arch.
