Henry Peak was the man who did most to shape Guildford during the second half of the 19th Century. On this walk, you will discover that his legacy remains even after 150 years.

Guildford was fortunate that Peak, a highly industrious, ethical individual did everything he could to develop the essential infrastructure of the town as well as designing buildings that protected its historic character. The High Street, North Street and the Castle Grounds all bear evidence of his work.
